Lava

I'm trying to get a shiny Eevee.... It's taking a while and Lava is being patent with me. But I think he's starting to get annoyed with all these babies around, and I wonder how long all those Lvl. 1 males live when I release them into the wild.

How many Eevees do I have to release before I can catch them in the wild??
